Here we are. We, the ADN-FEN members, have come
back to this marvellous naturist camping site.
The successful meetings of previous years and
the opportunity of the 1st of May has made us
come back during these holidays. This time the
novelty was the help of the ADNJ, the Youth Group
of ADN. Juan Manuel and his gang helped with the
organization of this 2nd Meeting at El Portús.
This youth group undertook the responsibility
of organizing numerous activities at the meeting,
with the help of the ADN board, and perhaps that
was the reason why we had a lot of fun.
On Thursday,
as soon as we arrived, we had entrées prepared
by the AND to welcome us. In the afternoon, we
played local bowling, (‘petanca’),
and volleyball at the beach. ADNJ pulled together
a very good team. Ismael gave us a talk about
the ‘International Day for Naturism’.
We spent a quite night as we were tired from the
trip and the exercise during the day.
The
next two days, we were taught basic techniques
for relaxation, there, by the swimming pool, with
the help of a fun-loving free-dance monitor. Later,
Ismael invited anybody interested to meet at the
restaurant to talk about the Naturist Day in Spain
and about the ADN. The young people went to dine
out in Cartagena while the rest of the members
had it in the camping area.
The
following day, which was a Saturday, ADN treated
all members and the rest of the campers to a pork
chop barbeque. In the afternoon we had a short
course on chiromassage and then, more bowling
and volley at the beach. Other members preferred
to enjoy the covered winter pool since the water
was warm and comfortable to be in.
Some
went shopping in the morning and others gave the
final touches to the preparations. We had programmed
a great goodbye party, a Hawaiian Party, in which
all members joined in to make it a good success.
We held it at the bar at the beach, (the ‘chiringuito’).
Juan placed some torches at the entrance, and
there were skirts, garlands and other Hawaiian
elements. Good food, good music, liquors with
the dessert made it a great success. We danced
in the crowded bar and had a good time. We stopped
bothering the early-bird campers and went to the
beach with the torches and the party continued
there. Somebody even dared go in the water. In
spite of all the fun, there was sadness in the
air, as the time to go got nearer.
The
next morning, we prepared to go back to Madrid,
not before plunging in the water. Everybody was
happy for the good time spent and we all look
forward to coming back next year to see each other
again.
