The Club Català de Naturisme,
(The Catalonian Naturist Club, CCN) organised
the first naturist disco event on the 19th of
last September. Usually Allen Roc is a conventional
disco, week-end after-hours and a large crowd
coming from Barcelona. But that Sunday it was
different. It was open only form 18:30 to 22:30,
which are not typical times for a disco, and the
costumers were not, either. Over one hundred naturists
met there, 60 of which were members of the CCN.
Early in the evening, the president, Marcel.lí
Alsina and some volunteers, played host to the
media, (EFE Press Agency, Europa Press, TVE, the
magazine Interviú, the TV station Canal
Sur, and the newspapers, El Periódico and
El País). They had been invited two hours
earlier and they were eager for information and,
above all, for photographs. They snapped pictures
of both the dance floor and the terrace outside.
They wanted naked bodies and asked to go in once
the party had begun and the ball was in full swing.
That request was turned down by the CCN.
The atmosphere was relaxed, in peace and harmony.
Some danced and other, as the weather was summer-like,
went to the pubs in the garden outside, surrounded
by water falls, high passes and greenery.
Two special bargirls served the drinks in our
natural attire, naked. These two youths, daughters
of club members, volunteered when the waiters
hired by the disco refused to do their job.
The organization was…perfect. When you arrived
they gave you a very practical bag where you could
keep your valuables, which you never know where
to leave. A group stayed just beyond eleven, dancing
or slurping down their last drinks before saying
good bye. A great evening and a nudist one, to
top.
We would like to thank Enrique Navarro, the owner,
for giving us the opportunity of enjoying this
first nudist experience in Europe. It was a great
feeling, that of making a breakthrough. Remember
that once a month Allen Roc offers the possibility
of having a nudist session. Members of the INF/FEN
are given a discount of 50%.
